The Shells have been a well-known name in the junior rodeo circuit for many years. In fact, Austin, Alex, and Morgan Shell were prior American Junior Rodeo Association World Champions in roping and barrel racing. All three have won American Junior Rodeo Association World Champion titles in their respective events. Austin and Alex were American Junior Rodeo Association World Champion calf ropers. Morgan won the American Junior Rodeo Association World Champion All-Around and the All-Around barrel racing titles.
